BeatBoard is a Youth Leadership, New Media and Contemporary Arts Education Organization.  Beatboard is committed to affecting positive change in communities through delivering leading-edge experiential education programs that value diversity, inclusion and solution for healthy living

 The Communication Initiative links people and organizations internationally on global issues such as community development, HIV and AIDS, and other public and social health change initiatives.

The Search Institute shares research and information on Asset Building for young people.  Assest are the foundation blocks that all of us can build in young people that will help them succeed in life and avoid risky behaviours such as as violence and substance use.

Thrive Canada is the Canadian resource for Asset Building.

Alaska Ice is an example of Asset Building within Aboriginal Communities as well as in non-Aboriginal communities.  The folks in Alaska are the only ones that have done extensive work with Indigenous communities around traditional assets.  The resource developed is called Helping Kids Succeed Alaskan Style.

CanAdventure is an amazing outdoor based therapeutic adventure programming for trouble youth.  What a great learning opportunity for youth.

Power To Be is also an amazing outdoor based adventure therapy program for youth and families.  Power To Be offers many different programs for parents and young people.  Power To Be and Connecting Cultures are partnering up to provide some exciting parent training opportunities in the fall of 2010.  Stay tuned for more information!
